What is the cost of a
charter?
The cost of the five hour charter is $80.00 per person
which included sales tax and fish cleaning and packaging. A minimum of
two is needed for the trip.
What group
discounts/packages are available?
Group discounts are available to groups of six taking the
boat.
Fishing package available: Fish the afternoon trip, stay
overnight – we provide lodging – fish the morning trip for $180.00 per
person for the package. This is available for 4 – 6 people.
What is the size of your boat?
Our boat is a 30 foot long by 11 wide PennYann. It is designed for
fishing with an open back deck and walk-in stand up cabin.
Is there a bathroom on your
boat?
Yes, there is a head, or bathroom, on board.
What time do you go out
fishing?
We have two 5 hour trips per day – the morning trip is from 5:00 a.m.
until 10:00 a.m. and the afternoon trip is from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m.
If we catch fish what do we do
with them?
We will clean and package your fish for you at no extra charge.
Will the captain go fishing if
it is raining?
Yes, he will go if it is raining but not if the wind would be a factor.
You will be under cover in the cabin if it is raining and will only have
to be out on the deck to bring in a fish. If rain is predicted, it would
be a good idea to bring a rain jacket with you on the trip.
Will you refund our deposit if
we cannot go fishing because of the weather?
Yes, we will refund your deposit in full if we have to cancel the trip
because of the weather. We will try to reschedule your trip in the time
you will be in the area. If that is not possible we will refund your
deposit.
Do you furnish all the tackle
and bait?
Yes, we furnish all gear needed for fishing. You will need to furnish a
Wisconsin fishing license if you are over the age of 16. We do not sell
licenses, but they are available locally if you need to buy one. You may
also bring any food or drink that you may want on the trip. There is
room for a small cooler for your snacks and refreshments.
How many people can you take
on the boat? Do you take children?
The captain is licensed to take up to a maximum of six persons per trip.
Yes, we do take children. The minimum age depends on the child. We
prefer that children will be interested in fishing, with help, and be
old enough to be considerate of other guest. Children who actively
fishing are charged full price.
What is the cost for a five
hour charter?
We charge $80.00 per person, tax included, for a five hour trip.
Arrangements can be made to reserve the whole boat for your family or
group. Group discounts are available.
Do you take credit cards?
No, we do not accept credit cards. We will take a personal check or cash
as payment.
